End User Licence Agreement
Last updated 23 October 2026
This licence agreement is between you and Sonicprint, and it covers the Sense Editors — Spatial Studio and Haptic Studio — and any other software Sonicprint makes available to you inside the Sonicprint studios (together, "the software"). It sits alongside our Terms of Service at https://www.thesonicprint.com/terms-of-service, which also apply. If you are using the software on behalf of a company, you accept this agreement on its behalf.
You are asked to accept it before you first use the software, and again whenever it changes.
Early access
The software is in closed early access. It is offered by invitation, it is still being built, and it will change: tools may be added, altered or withdrawn, and a project made today may open differently after an update. Keep your own copies of the source files and exports that matter to you.
Your licence
While your invitation stands, Sonicprint gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software through the studios, for your own work and your studio's (your organisation's) work.
The software is licensed, not sold. Sonicprint and its licensors keep all rights in it that this agreement does not expressly give you.
What you may not do
Except where the law allows it regardless of this agreement, you may not:
- copy, modify or make works based on the software;
- decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer it, or try to extract its source code, models or measured data;
- rent, lend, sell, sublicense or give anyone access to it who has not been invited;
- get around any limit on access, usage or export that the software applies;
- use it to build a product or service that competes with it.
Your work and what you export
You keep all rights to what you bring into the software and to what you make with it — projects, mixes, renders, haptic tracks and exports. Our Terms of Service say what Sonicprint may do with that material in order to run the studios, and nothing more.
Audio generated with a third-party model carries that model's terms, which the software shows beside each model. Checking that those terms allow the use you intend is up to you.
Feedback
Early access exists so we can hear what works. If you send us suggestions or reports about the software, we may use them to improve it without owing you anything for them. We will not name you or your studio publicly without asking.
Confidentiality
Features that have not been announced publicly are shared with you in confidence. Please do not publish screenshots, recordings or descriptions of them without our agreement. Your own work made with the software is yours to show.
Third-party components
The software includes open-source components and measured head data published by others, each under its own licence. Those licences apply to those components and take precedence over this agreement where they give you more rights. We will send the list on request.
No warranty
The software is provided "as is", and in early access especially it may contain errors, lose work or be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, Sonicprint gives no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Sonicprint is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profit or business, arising from your use of the software. Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending
This licence ends when your invitation or your account ends, when you stop using the software, or if you break this agreement. When it ends you must stop using the software. Where we can, we will give you notice so you can export your work first. The sections on your work, feedback, confidentiality, warranty and liability continue after it ends.
Changes
We may update this agreement. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page and ask you to accept the new version before you next use the software.
Separate agreements
Where you or your studio has a separate written agreement with Sonicprint that covers the software, that agreement takes precedence over this one where the two differ.
