Privacy Policy
Last updated 23 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Sonicprint ("we", "us") collects when you visit thesonicprint.com, contact us, or sign in to the Sonicprint studios, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and how you can have it corrected or removed.
If you have a question about this policy or about your data, write to hello@thesonicprint.com.
What we collect
When you browse the website:
- With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site: which pages are visited, and which site or link brought you here. It sets cookies whose names begin with "_ga", and Google receives your IP address and information about your browser and device. We ask when you first arrive; if you enter without analytics, the Google Analytics script is never loaded. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page, which also removes those cookies.
- We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run advertising scripts.
- Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to operate and secure the site.
- Your browser stores a few preferences on your own device — whether sound is on, your volume, whether you have seen the introduction, which part of the site you came in through, and your analytics choice. These stay in your browser's local storage and are not used to identify you.
- A service worker caches the site's public files and content on your device so pages load faster. It does not cache anything private.
When you use the contact form:
- Your name, email address, company (if you give one) and your message.
- The page you sent the form from, the site that referred you, and which part of the site you came in through, so we know what you were looking at when you wrote.
- To keep out spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which receives your IP address and information about your browser to check that you are a person.
When you sign in to the Sonicprint studios:
- The studios are available by invitation. You sign in with your Google account or with a link sent to your email address.
- From Google Sign-In we receive your email address and basic profile information (your name and profile picture). Our authentication provider stores what Google sends, but we use only your email address: to identify your account, to match you to the studio you were invited to, and to contact you about your account.
- We store your role, the studio you belong to, the tools you have access to, and when you last signed in.
- Before you first use the studios, you are asked to read and accept the Terms of Service and the licence for the studio software. We record that you accepted the Terms of Service and the licence, which version of each, and when, so we can ask again only when one of them changes.
- We set cookies that keep you signed in. They are set only after you sign in and are used for nothing else. (The analytics cookies above are separate, and only there if you allowed them.)
- We store the work you create: the projects you make, the audio files you upload, the names and descriptions you give them, and the client names you enter.
- If you use the generation tools, the text you enter (prompts, lines of dialogue, voice and parameter choices) is sent to our generation provider to produce audio. If you use audio isolation, the audio file you choose is sent as well.
- To make the studios fast, your browser keeps a local copy of project data and audio on your device. Signing out clears it.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry. When you contact us we may also send you a small number of follow-up emails about your enquiry. Every one of them carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them immediately.
- To provide the studios: to sign you in, to show you the projects and files you have access to, to process and render your audio, and to keep your work private to the people you share it with.
- To keep the website and studios secure, and to prevent spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use your files or prompts to train models.
Google user data
Sonicprint's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google Sign-In only to authenticate you. We receive and store your email address and basic profile information (name and profile picture), and we use your email address only to provide and secure your account. We do not transfer it to anyone except as necessary to provide the service, to comply with the law, or with your consent, and we never use it for advertising.
Who processes it
We use the following service providers to run the website and studios. Each processes personal information only on our instructions and only to provide its service to us.
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
- Vercel — website hosting and server logs.
- Resend — sending email.
- Cloudflare — Turnstile spam protection on the contact form.
- Google — Google Sign-In, and Google Analytics if you allow it.
- fal.ai — audio generation in the studios. Depending on the model you choose, your request is fulfilled by ElevenLabs, Stability AI or MiniMax through fal.ai.
Some case studies embed video from YouTube or Vimeo. Nothing is loaded from them until you press play; once you do, their own privacy policies apply.
These providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of Sonicprint, our users or others.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and are deleted when you ask.
- Studio accounts and the work in them are kept while your account is active. Projects and files you delete are removed from storage.
- Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider and then discarded.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to stop processing it, or to give you a copy. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link in any of them. Write to hello@thesonicprint.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Security
Studio files are kept in private storage and are reachable only by people with access to the project. Access is enforced by the database itself, not only by the website. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children
The website and studios are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will tell studio users by email.
