Sychedelic

Sychedelic

Not a sound on the product. A sound inside it.

A four-pillar sonic identity for a neuromodulation headphone brand, extended into the device's own interface sounds and into a modular campaign score. Built on the brand's mission, Amplify You.

Sychedelic

The brief

Sychedelic is lifestyle-first on a neuro-tech foundation, and the identity had to hold both at once. It needed a signature that sounded like transformation. It also had to reach further than a logo, into the sounds the headphones make while a person is wearing them.

What shipped

Amplify You is a claim about the user, not the product. So the identity had to sound like ascent, not arrival. We split the palette: organic instruments for the human half, synthesis for the neuro-tech. The result is hybrid organic and electronic, ambient, with one layer that is not musical at all. Four pillars carry it. A woodblock synth rises and never lands, so progress stays ongoing. A Morse-like "sonicprint" is clocked from isochronic tones, chosen for what it does to a listener rather than how it sounds. A flute soars above for mental clarity. A fractal synth repeats self-similar, mirroring the brain settling into flow. It ships at 5, 24 and 60 seconds. Every device sound is derived from a master sonicprint rather than composed beside it: power on, power off, device connected, device search, battery low. The pillars are separable, so the score for the product launch video is the same elements re-sequenced against its narrative arc, and new content extends the music rather than recommissioning it. Underneath, a platform we helped develop reads brainwave data and biomarkers from the headphone sensors and drives isochronic tones and spatial rendering in real time.
